kdelibs5-plugins software package provides core plugins for KDE Applications, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install kdelibs5-plugins
kdelibs5-plugins is installed in your system.
Make ensure the kdelibs5-plugins package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kdelibs5-plugins *
You will get with kdelibs5-plugins package name, version, architecture and description in a table
